Sunday, April 22nd, 2007

22nd of April, today, is my birthday.

April 22 is the 112th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar (113th in leap years). There are 253 days remaining.

I share my birthday with Immanuel Kant, Vladimir Lenin, Robert Oppenheimer, Aaron Spelling, Jack Nicholson and Shavo Odadjian among others.

It is Earth Day too.

1005

Tuesday, April 17th, 2007

It has been already 1005 days since I first started my Apple iBook G4.
.Mac account gone old
Too bad it’s so damn expensive to own such account. I’d have one if it was either little cheaper ($99.95 / year is damn much) or the storage space would be much greater (1GB at the moment, the rumor tells it would be bumped to 40GB soon).

Joost beta

Monday, April 16th, 2007

Joost.com So I finally received my Joost Beta Invitation, but I can’t really participate in the Joost Experience.

I have PowerPC-based iBook. And you guessed right, the Joost client has been made to work only on Intel-based Macs. Yay.

Kinda pissed now. All that waiting.

Will IPRED2 Make You a Copy Criminal?

Friday, April 13th, 2007

We believe that IPRED2’s new criminal sanctions pose a risk to legitimate business and respect for individual freedoms in the EU.

We ask that the European Parliament approve amendments that would remove the new crimes of “aiding, abetting, or inciting” and limit the directive to combat only trademark counterfeiting and true commercial-scale copyright piracy.

I signed. You should too.
