New editor?

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

After learning about Macromates odd policy, I’ve started to look for new editing application to satisfy my needs.

Version 2.0 will require Leopard and will be a free upgrade (except for MacHeist license owners)

Maybe Coda could cover everything needed?

Hello Python!

And this is the second.

Yay! Baby steps, I know, but gotta start from somewhere.

they be stealing our 4chan

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

4chan’s domain name registrar account has been compromised, and thus their DNS servers and the integrity of 4chan.org (along with soup) as well.

On the 14th December 2007 4chan’s DNS was hacked and incoming connections were redirected to the website http://diditforthelulz.com — originally there was a shitty phpBB on this site (they couldn’t even set up an imageboard) and it needed more desu.

brb, compromised — encyclopedia dramatica

4chan’s account with its domain name registrar has been stolen. This allows for the malicious editing of our nameserver list(s) and thus compromises the integrity of 4chan.org and various other domains tied to the account.

DO NOT SEND ANY SORT OF “PRIVATE” OR SECURE INFORMATION TO 4CHAN.ORG. CLEAR YOUR COOKIES AND DISCONTINUE BROWSING THE SITE IMMEDIATELY.

A redirect page has gone up on the [real] 4chan servers to point users to this blog. Individuals who have an outdated DNS cache will be bounced here. From this point forward, take anything you read on 4chan.org with a grain of salt (that’s a bit ironic, isn’t it?).

Attention — 4chan status

Looks like “Angyl” did it.

New Black v2

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

New Black v2 screenshot New theme I’m proud to present to you. Some small adjustments will be done in the coming weeks and most of the old posts will be tagged too.

For the graphics I have to thank Jani once again for helping me out very much.

For everyone using Internet Explorer, could it be time to move to better browsers? I’m pointing at Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox, both run very well on Windows.

Street Team v2

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Over 9 months of work has now been released to the public. Some tweaks here and there, few things that should be fixed (live coding is always fun), but we’re getting there. I’m proud to say this is all done by me, this has been more of a journey to become better developer and php coder.

But the details; Street team2 is a 99% re-write of the old version that was released 1.1.2007, 330 days ago. All +250 members and +500 reports (of which 450 were approved by the administration) were ported to the new version without any loss of data. There are numerous improvements, including more professional and cleaner look of the whole site.

Funny thing is I’m already planning next version.
