Lately I’ve been staying up more and more, almost so early I could see the sun come up again. This would be, more or less, ok if I would actually stay in balance between the waking hours and the times in deep sleep. The reality is different, I’ve started to keep myself more and more awake.

I bought myself a new backpack to replace my old beat up and somewhat damaged vendorware backpack I had for years, since 2004 by the way.
The new Dakine’s Element pack gives a nice set of pockets, both visible and hidden, to maximize the usability. The single best feature so far has been the padded laptop sleeve inside the big section. Now I don’t have to be so worried about my trusty iBook.
I hope the backpack will be worth it’s salty price (59,90€ at Anttila). They promised me “Limited Lifetime Warranty” (what ever that really means) and I find any problems in the pack I’ll rise hell. No problems found and I think the old backpack had it’s contribution to my back pain. So far so good.
On the other news; life is smiling.
