Thursday, February 1st, 2007Mac hacked in 30 minutes (sic)
Tuesday, March 7th, 2006Within hours of going live, the “rm-my-mac” competition was over. The challenger posted this message on his Web site: “This sucks. Six hours later this poor little Mac was owned and this page got defaced”.
The hacker that won the challenge, who asked ZDNet Australia to identify him only as “gwerdna”, said he gained root control of the Mac in less than 30 minutes.

That was the medias view of what happened.
“Watch out though, I’m coming to get you with a whole book of undocumented exploits! Just create me an admin account on your machine first and close your eyes!”

The Real Sound Of Progress
Tuesday, January 18th, 2005This is my coverage of mp3 blogs. all free new (legal) music flowing around the net. Free advertising for bands with good music :)
Take an active approach in finding music you love. Don’t let Clearchannel or MTV forcefeed you whatever music is “hot” this week. Find what you love and immerse yourself in it. Buy the CD. Go to the show. Meet your favorite artist after their show and give ‘em 20 bucks in exchange for the music you downloaded. Support the artists whose work you adore.
Be passionate about music. It’ll love you back.
This is what the first mp3-blog (link here) I’ve seen says to it’s users. And I totally agree this blogger-based journal filled with music. Some of the tracks I’ve listened to, and a lot of I’ve never even heard of.
aurgasm brings to you an eclectic menagerie of aural pleasures. I scout out music you’ve never heard and deliver only the finest.
Expect music curiously different, yet simply enjoyable.
I want music to move me. I listen to how it sounds and consume how it feels. I want it to groove my soul, wrench my heart, nod my head, or fascinate my brain.
It really makes me sad to see Avril and Britney are collecting the souls of potential users/listeners/buyers of good music. Don’t get me wrong, there’s couple of songs by Britney even I like, and it’s a rare thing, just because pop generally produces look-alikes, clones of clones who worship someone in the teen-magazine covers… plastic.
But hey, it’s a free land ;) Everybody listen to what you like, just remember there is so much more than MTV ;)
betterPropaganda focuses on new, independent music & allows you to use interactive features to discover, hear & collect it. We are dedicated to providing independent labels & artists a better opportunity to be heard. Right now, the site is loaded with hundreds of free, hand selected & fully legal mp3s, with brand new ones uploaded daily.
Sounds good, looks good and feels good. :)
